About Yarraman Reiki

Joanna's Story

I stumbled across Reiki by accident when I was stressed and run down both physically and emotionally. The funny thing was that I didn't care what energy healing was. I just knew I was going to give it a go.

Having a Reiki treatment every week for three months, my transformation was stunning. First, I became very ill with flu-like symptoms. I was unwell for three weeks with aches, pains, and fever. My body was rebalancing and healing from past events.

About four weeks after my first Reiki session, I was walking on the beach, and it suddenly dawned on me how good I was feeling. I felt energised and completely relaxed at the same time.

To become a Reiki Practitioner was the only thing I had on my mind, with the hope that I could help others along the way.

I have helped people with depression, anxiety, and low energy. Reiki is subtle and spectacular in its simplicity and profoundly affects people willing to give it a go.

The Yarraman Way

Inspired by the grounded presence of horses.

The word “Yarraman” is the Aboriginal word for horse, representing intuition, calm, and strength.

Horses sense our emotional state instantly.

When we are tense, they feel it; when we are calm, they relax too.

Our nervous system works the same way.

Reiki helps your body move from a stressed state into deep relaxation, allowing balance and healing to naturally occur.

Our Intention

At Yarraman Reiki, the goal is simple:

To create a safe, steady space where people can pause, reset and return to themselves.

Our approach is grounded, practical and deeply human. No performance. No pressure. Just space to breathe again.
